From costumed runners to glow-in-the-dark gear, the Spooky Sprint transforms traditional racing into a whimsical Halloween celebration. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Broad Run Park/Cliffside Playground, offering something for everyone from seasoned half-marathoners to kids eager for their first dash.

“I volunteer at the Spooky Sprint every year because it brings the whole community together in such a fun, positive way. You see families in costume, kids racing with huge smiles, and neighbors cheering each other on. It’s like Halloween meets a block party with a finish line,” said Austin Jacoby, a race worker.
