Ringgold, GA – July 8th, 2025 – What began as a modest initiative during the pandemic has blossomed into a full-on community celebration. The Back2School Backpacks Bash, hosted at The Colonnade in Ringgold, GA, is set to welcome families for a day of excitement on July 12, 2025, from 12 PM to 5 PM.
Initially conceived as a simple backpack giveaway during challenging times, the event has evolved into an annual extravaganza, thanks to community feedback and support. The 2025 edition promises unparalleled fun with bounce house inflatables, a chance to meet Barbie, face painting, a foam party, and live music. Local vendors and food trucks will ensure there’s something for everyone, while the highlight remains the raffle giveaways of over 150 backpacks filled with school supplies, generously sponsored by the Xtreme Dreams Foundation of Atlanta.
“It’s incredible to see how this event has grown,” said Karah VanHoose, one of the event coordinators. “We started with a few dozen backpacks, and now we’re part of something much bigger that brings joy and prepares children for the school year.”
The Back2School Backpacks Bash not only provides essential school supplies but also fosters a sense of community spirit and togetherness that resonates with attendees. “This event is a true testament to the power of community resilience and creativity,” added a participant from last year.
